People On The Trip

Trip Report

Hike with Nicole and Siobhan to warm up for winter. We spend the whole day tap dancing on solid ice trails in crampons. These were some of the toughest conditions I've ever hiked in. Movement was slow and tedious and we definitely didn't make good time. Overall it was a great day to be out in the woods (enjoyed walking out the lake road by moonlight).

The Good and The Bad

The Good:

Bagging some peaks
Sawteeth to gothics is always fun

The Bad:

Water ice everywhere
Everything between Arm and the WJ col

The Drive

Stayed at maple leaf Friday night (awesome as usual). For once we found what we wanted for dinner at the Nice and easy in pottersville
