People On The Trip

Trip Report

We managed to get in to the summer trailhead again. This time in Nate's car. The trail in and out from the ward brook leanto was a bore and was easily hiked in microspikes, no need for snowshoes. The hike up and down Seymour wasn't bad because we kept a good steady pace. Saw a bunch of people from the forums on the hike. Overall it was a great day. We started hiking a little after 7, and were back out to the car just after 3.

The Good and The Bad

The Good:

Despite not wanting to hike that day, it wasn't that bad
The rangers had gone through and cleared a considerable amount of blowdown making the blueberry trail easy

The Bad:

The stupid never-ending blueberry foot trail

The Drive

Stayed at the Tupper Lake Motel on Thursday night
